Sunlight exposure can be harmful to people who are prone to form melanomas. The advice to eat healthy food is universal and should be followed by all. But check what you must be not eat if your body has the habit of forming kidney-stones. Also make sure to get enough calcium.

Lastly, have your house checked for Radon gas (can cause cancer). Then, listen to pleasant music, read a good book, try to get enough sleep. After that, pray that when the wolf comes, he will not stop at your door.

Melanomas are independent of sun exposure. Some of the places they occur are rarely exposed to sunlight, such as the bottom of feet. Squamosal and basal cell carcinomas have been increasing in parallel to increased use of sunscreen lotions. Regular and judicious sun exposure of bare skin reduces those skin cancers. Vit D and melatonin produced in the skin and in the case of melatonin also in deeper tissues by sunlight repair cell damage. I suggest reading Embrace the Sun by Marc Sorenson and William Grant particularly the role of uvb and watching Dr. Roger Seheult's youtube video on the many roles of red/near red infrared light in our physiology.
