Abstract
We recently discovered a superantigen-like motif sequentially and structurally similar to a staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB) segment, near the S1/S2 cleavage site of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, which might explain the multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C) observed in children and the cytokine storm in severe COVID-19 patients. We show here that an anti-SEB monoclonal antibody (mAb), 6D3, can bind this viral motif at its polybasic (PRRA) insert to inhibit infection in live virus assays. The overlap between the superantigenic site of the spike and its proteolytic cleavage site suggests that the mAb prevents viral entry by interfering with the proteolytic activity of cell proteases (furin and TMPRSS2). The high affinity of 6D3 for this site originates from a polyacidic segment at its heavy chain CDR2. The study points to the potential utility of 6D3 for possibly treating COVID-19, MIS-C, or common colds caused by human coronaviruses that also possess a furin-like cleavage site."

Well, Charles Rixey's interview is highly interesting, but he still doesn't mention a key part of the whole story now presented by Jim Haslam's book "Covidc19: Mystery Solved" :
Whilst DEFUSE was indeed rejected by DARPA, a) DARPA instead funded a highly dangerous research by Rocky Mountains Lab, Ma, (a part of NIAID) to optimize virus aerosol transmission, and b) NIAID eventually funded DEFUSE in 2019, split into 3 components, and only modified to incorporate RML output on aerosol transmission: this is the final smoking gun, which by the way almost fully exonerates China for the design and construction of the SarsCov2 virus which overwelmed most of the world (which would not mean that the Chinese side was not conducting their own dangerous reserach)
Haslam was interwiewed by Dr McCullough, and I don't understand at all why John Leake does not mention it to Rixey.
By the way, Rixey is close to Bob Kennedy, and it may well be the case that current US Admin is preferring to move on, working on stopping gain-of-function and ARN(m) "vaccines", rather than putting emphasis on finally disclosing the US responsibility for the Covid19 pain and cost

Jim is - in my sense- properly paying tribute to then-major Murphy whistle blowing of DEFUSE proposal, and certainly we must thank DRASTIC group (and you particularly as a marines colleague) for its decisive contribution to Murphy's move, following the analysis that DEFUSE proposal being unclassified, there were more limited exposure for him to provide this information package to DRASTIC and project Veritas (my version of DEFUSE is marked "Veritas").
Jim is indeed adding the RML component of the story: a) being funded by DARPA; b) as a self-spreadable product, being potentially more dangerous than the mechanical spray considered originally by DEFUSE EcoHealth Alliance team, c) being incorporated in the "updated and split in 3 parts" DEFUSE project as eventually funded by Fauci's NIAID CREID program. Why don't you mention in your interviews (France Soir in France by 2024 year end; now FocalPoints) the RML role and/or NIAID CREID funding which eventually took place?
