i was alerted to the truth in 2020 and have been drawn in that direction ever since.
the sorting hat is great reference by gato malo that works quite well for me. i was sorted for the truth, and most of my friends and family were not. at times, they vilified me. it’s been a test of character and a very lonely experience at times, but i cannot in good conscience be any other way.
i’m not sure what the future will look like for my family, and this has caused me significant emotional pain. i’m trying to find the path that balances compassion for others with self-preservation, love for those who cannot see with a deeper sense of self-love and commitment to self-protection.
